Library of Babel Book
Nestled at the base of the gently rolling Ozark Mountains, Greensfelder Park offers shaded trails and sweeping views—an ideal setting for outdoor enjoyment in many forms. To enhance visitors' experience, I developed a wayfinding system paired with a cohesive brand identity that emphasizes welcoming, inclusivity, and accessibility. The design incorporates clear, intuitive signage and visual elements that reflect the park’s natural beauty, ensuring all visitors can navigate and appreciate the space with ease and comfort. This approach not only supports orientation and safety but also fosters a deeper connection to the environment, making Greensfelder Park a destination for everyone.
“The Library of Babel” is a short story by Jorge Luis Borges that imagines a vast, seemingly infinite library containing every possible book formed from a fixed set of characters. While the library holds all knowledge, it is overwhelmingly filled with meaningless text, exploring themes of infinity, chaos, order, and humanity’s relentless search for meaning.
I designed and hand-bound a book that typographically interprets the story, using form, structure, and repetition as a method of design exploration and genuine curiosity about Borges’s ideas.
